Good Morning,
As some of you may know Brenda, I and another couple went to Cabo
San Lucas Mexico last week and while there chartered a boat for a day
of fishing. We had a blast and everyone caught fish, and I have attached a
photo of Brenda with her very first Marlin, which was photographed and
released unharmed to fight yet another day. We were fishing the Pacific
side under cloudy skies, blustery winds (15-18 kts) and building seas
(4-6 ft) and our first strike came about 08:00 and Brenda fought it for
about 30 min..... a nice Striped Marlin about 70 lbs (estimated). Shortly
afterwards, Vonda Byars was next in the chair and brought an even
bigger (110 lbs estimated) Marlin boatside, which was also released
unharmed. (Sorry....no photo of it yet). We missed hookups on another
Marlin and a Sailfish but Curtis Byars and I caught Dorado and Tuna
(yellow fin) and we all had a wonderful day of fishing.
Kudos to Jerry Chapman, Capt. Alfonso and mate Coco on the Bob
Marlin for yet another splendid day of fishing. For those planning a trip
to Cabo and want to go fishing...I highly recommend Jerry and his crew
as I have been fishing with them for 20 yrs and have had excellent
results....check him out on the web at http://www.jcsportfishing.com/
